OVERVIEW

The Freedom Hauler FH18 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The model promotes excellent controllability. The ribbed tread design and the rubber compound work together to maintain continuous contact with the driving surface. These elements significantly improve the tire’s steering responsiveness and towing stability. The tire’s steering response time is faster and more precise to the towing vehicle’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. At the same time, the outer ribs boost the tire’s cornering and maneuvering during the performance. This combination ensures the tire’s safe driving experience.

Excellent all season performance is guaranteed with this tire. The ribbed tread design and the all season compound enhance the tire’s performance throughout the year. In this manner, the optimized tread elements boost the tire’s traction at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in warm and cold temperatures. As a result, these elements guarantee the tire’s excellent grip in dry, wet, and winter weather. The zigzag grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint and resist hydroplaning.

The Freedom Hauler FH18 offers excellent load and driving durability. The reinforced internal structure and the special silica compound maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting it. As the tire does not deform, it can easily carry and withstand larger loads. This load-carrying capacity and handling power make this model an excellent choice for trailer applications.

This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
