OVERVIEW

The Forerunner LG05 is an all season tire made for lawn mowers and garden tractors.

The optimized tread design enables its surface contact at all times, for better controllability. The ideal block pattern enables the tire to enhance steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. This greatly enhances the tread’s constant surface contact while the tires are in motion during the performance.

All season performance is provided as well. The smooth tread pattern and the all season compound increase the tire's performance in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions. This tread pattern closely follows the surface at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures.

The Forerunner LG05 manages to effectively increase the turf-friendly performance. Exceptional surface contact helps to resist damage to the grass field. This is ensured with the simple tread’s soft traction and close road contact. They minimize the pressure placed on the driving surface, promoting a turf-friendly performance.

This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
