OVERVIEW

The Federal Glacier GC01 is a highway terrain, winter tire manufactured for light trucks. It has some commercial van sizes available.

The tire ensures excellent winter weather traction. The advanced silica compound and the detailed directional tread design boost the winter, ice, and snow grip. The durable compound helps to optimize rubber flexibility even in freezing temperatures. On the other hand, the siping density of the directional pattern firmly grips the road surface with additional biting edges. Circumferential and lateral grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint. As a result, the tire manages to effectively avoid hydroplaning in wet conditions.

Controllability is also improved with the directional tread design. The ideal block placement improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This enhances the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure.
