The Duro HF224 Chevron is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and other garden equipment vehicles.

The tire offers great traction. It combines the all season traction and the optimal chevron tread design increase the soft terrain grip, while also boosting the year round performance. These tread elements enable the tire to enhance the dry, wet, and light winter traction, while the tread blocks also improve the turf terrain traction. This combination allows the tire to significantly increase the versatile terrain performance. As a result, the tread design makes the tire perfect for lawn mower and other garden equipment applications.

The tread design and the better soft terrain traction allow the tire to ease the pressure off the driving surface. This combination enables the tire to guarantee the forward motion at all times. In this manner, the better traction prevents excessive traction from harming the grass and turf terrain surface. As turf damage is avoided, the tire promotes a safer and excellent turf friendly driving experience.

The Duro HF224 Chevron boosts the length of the tread life. The stronger structure and the durable compound increase the service life. They allow the tire to evenly circulate the driving pressure across the tread area, avoiding irregular wear formations. This also protects the tire from deforming under pressure, which actively avoids tread flexing. Stronger compound elements decrease the treadwear rate as well. The slow and even wear significantly improves the service life.

This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated.
