OVERVIEW

The Duro DP8000 Performa HP1 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The tread design and the all season compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread's optimal elements maintain a firm grip on the road surface all year round, while the tire compound manages to keep its flexible traction throughout the year, including in colder winter weather. The tread's wide circumferential and angled lateral grooves actively disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint. In this manner, the tire ensures a secure year round performance.

The model features a wider road contact patch that maintains the tire's road contact at all times to increase its high speed controllability. The wider contact patch sports an enlarged shoulder area and a solid center rib that closely follows the road surface at all times. This upgrades the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The larger shoulder area increases the cornering ability and power with additional biting edges. The directional tread design manages to evenly spread out the high speed driving pressure to improve the tire's high speed performing capability.
