OVERVIEW

The Delinte AW5 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. It has some high performance sizes as well.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The asymmetric tread with the large tread blocks and the high-density siping detail increase the grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The siping detail increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface while the tires are in motion, including on ice- and snow-covered road surfaces, as the tire is winter certified. The all season compound maintains its flexibility and keeps the tire pliable even in colder temperatures. The circumferential grooves help prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint.

The tread design's constant road contact helps improve the tire's controllability. The large tread elements keep the tire's contact with the road surface at all times, which boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the steering is faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread block pattern upgrades the cornering ability. These tread elements increase the number of biting edges gripping the road during the tire's maneuvering in various conditions.

The AW5 ensures a quiet drive. The tread features a variable pitch alignment which lowers the road noise levels heard during the drive. The variable pitch sequence generates a sound frequency that negates the road and tread pattern noise created while the tires are in motion, before they can reach the vehicle's cabin. In this manner, the road noise cannot disturb the passengers' driving comfort, guaranteeing a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
