The Continental PureContact EcoPlus is a performance and high performance, depending on the speed rating of the specific tire size, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Continental offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire's compound featuring Tg-F polymers and +Silane additives and the weight optimized construction are the result of Continental's EcoPlus technology and they lower the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the force created when the tires are in transit and it determines how much energy is used for it. The reduced rolling resistance means the vehicle needs less energy to keep the tires in motion and it decreases the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the vehicle. This makes the model more cost and fuel efficient, while making it environmentally friendly at the same time.

The model offers a longer lasting tread life thanks to the alignment indicators and the tread compound. The alignment indicators offer a quick view whether the tire's tread wear is even on not which prevents irregular tread wear pattern to formulate. The driver can check whether the alignment is correct on the vehicle by simply checking the markings on the tire's shoulder. The tire compound with the Tg-F polymers make the tire resistant to tread wear and slow down the tread wear rate. This extends the tread life and the tire's usability.
