OVERVIEW

The BFGoodrich g-Force Rival is a high performance summer tire made for passenger vehicles.

The tire offers a secure summer weather traction. The asymmetric tread design with the optimal groove placement increases the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. These tread elements improve the grip on the road surface in such conditions, while the compound actively prevents heat build-up along the tread area. The optimal groove pattern avoids hydroplaning, by dispersing water from below the tire's footprint. This model is not suited for winter weather performance.

The ideal asymmetric tread design improves the high speed controllability. The asymmetric tread's flat footprint maintains the tire's surface contact throughout its performance, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The rounded shoulder profile and optimal tread blocks increase the cornering ability. They increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, which boosts the cornering and maneuvering capability and power. This results in the tire's exceptional handling and maneuvering.

The g-Force Rival is a semi-competition model. Its stronger construction manages to maintain the ideal tire shape under the high speed pressure affecting the tire. This keeps the ideal tire shape during the performance and enables the tire to safety perform at its greatest high speed capability. The optimal summer compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area, but it allows the tire to warm up enough to ensure a secure performance. As a result, the tire has a competition application.
