OVERVIEW

The Armstrong ADR2 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was created for the vehicle’s drive axle.

This model guarantees exceptional all season traction, by using the all season compound and ribbed tread block placement. These elements firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges which optimize the year-round performance. Additionally, durable compound elements maintain the rubber flexibility throughout the year. Hydroplaning is avoided with the circumferential grooves and open shoulder detail as they disperse water and slush from below the footprint. This further boosts the tire’s wet weather performance.

The footprint stability and the optimally placed block pattern enhance the tire’s service life. They manage to avoid tread flexing, allowing the footprint to evenly circulate driving pressure along the tread area. As a result, irregular wear formations are prevented. On the other hand, the durable compound elements are wear-resistant, minimizing the overall treadwear rate. Slow and even wear is ensured, increasing the tread life length.

The ADR2 upgrades load durability with a stronger structure. The construction does not allow the tire to deform under the load and driving pressure, which allows the tire to safely carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. In other words, the overall load capacity is significantly increased, making the tire perfect for commercial applications.
