Arctic Claw Winter TXI

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Winter weather traction
  • Studdable tread
  • Enhanced controllability
  • Reduced road noise levels

OVERVIEW

The Arctic Claw Winter TXI is a winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire offers exceptional winter weather traction. The tread design with the specialized snow grooves and the winter weather tire compound work together to improve the cold temperature road gripping ability. The deep lateral, circumferential and notched grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from beneath the tire’s footprint. The tire can be equipped with extra studs to increase its winter weather, especially ice, traction. While the tire firmly grips the road surface in all winter weather situations, it is not recommended for use in warmer temperatures, as the tire compound will not maintain its flexibility in such conditions.

The model’s specialized tread design allows it to maintain constant road contact. The tread design’s shoulder tread blocks increase the tire’s cornering and maneuvering ability. They provide additional biting edges during the drive, while firmly grip the road surface. This enhances the tire’s maneuvering ability in all winter conditions. The center tread design keeps the tire close to the road surface. This boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The tire is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it, while the steering response to the driver’s instructions becomes quick and precise. The better controllability and ensured maneuverability significantly upgrade the model’s performing ability.

The Winter TXI’s optimized tread design also offers a comfortable drive. The tread design negates the sound waves generated while the tires are in motion. This means that the soundwaves do not reach the vehicle’s cabin and therefore will not disturb the driving comfort of the passengers. The result is a quiet driving experience.
